THERAPEUTIC INDICATION:

• CHESTIRA is syrup of Thyme, Primula root, and Honey, which is used as an expectorant (helps bring up phlegm) for productive (chesty) coughs according to EUROPIAN MEDICINE AGENCY.
• CHESTIRA used as a treatment of acute bronchitis and respiratory infections following exposure of cold according to Egyptian Drug authority (EDA).
• CHESTIRA reduces cough severity, coughing fits and improves quality of life.
• CHESTIRA is effective in symptomatic relief of child’s nocturnal cough and sleep difficulties related to URTI (Upper respiratory tract infection).
• CHESTIRA; Tolerability was rated “good” or “very good” by0% of patients.

DOSAGE:

Adults:

• 1 teaspoonful 3 times daily or as directed by physician
• Children (4 years & above):
• According to age ½ to 1 teaspoonful, 2–3 times daily

ADMINISTRATION:

CHESTIRA Syrup should be taken orally in doses distributed over the day at regular intervals as recommended by your physician.

PRECAUTIONS & WARNINGS:

• Keep away from reach of children
• May affect individuals with urinary tract or gastrointestinal inflammation.
• Used with caution in individuals with thyroid disorders.
• Spacing between doses NLT 4 hours.
• The duration of continuous treatment should not exceed 7 days.
• CHESTIRA Syrup is not to be taken in known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.
• Kindly consult your physician in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding or using other
• medicine or specific medical case
• That product contains SORBITOL; it may cause softening of the stool
• That product contains Honey; could have hypersensitivity effect

STORAGE:

• Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place.
